Coresun Drive Slewing drives consist of slewing bearing, worm shaft, housing, bearing, motor and so on. Motor drive the worm shaft, the outer ring of slewing bearing will rotate, the outer ring output the torque through flange while the inner ring of slewing bearing is fixed in housing.
 

Biaxial automatic tracking system is generally divided into electronic control and mechanical two major parts.

Electric control system

The biaxial tracking photovoltaic array moves along two rotation axes, which can track the change of azimuth Angle and height Angle of the sun at the same time. Theoretically, it can completely track the running track of the sun to achieve zero incidence Angle.In general, tracking control can adopt two basic ways: continuous tracking and step tracking.The continuous tracking mode requires the tracking Angle to be adjusted at any time according to the changing law to follow the sun's orbit.In the step-tracking mode, the tracking Angle is adjusted every period of time so that the PHOTOVOLTAIC array is aligned with the current position of the sun, while the photovoltaic array is fixed the rest of the time.Obviously, the step-tracking approach simplifies system control.However, the step-tracking photovoltaic array cannot track the solar track in real time, so the utilization rate of solar radiation is inevitably reduced.Taking all aspects into consideration, the step tracking method is adopted to make the tracking Angle error less than ±0.2 degree.

The mechanical structure

The structure of the biaxial tracking system is divided into supporting part, connecting part and driving part.The supporting part of the dual-axis tracking system is composed of the main pillar, rotating support and steel structure bracket, the connecting part is composed of aluminum profile and bolts, and the driving part is composed of worm gear and worm, connecting rod and reducer, etc.The tracking direction of the biaxial tracking system includes horizontal rotation and vertical pitch, realizing the two-degree-of-freedom tracking.The motor power input, through the reducer reduction, input worm wheel and worm, the vertical plane rotary motion into horizontal rotary motion, at the same time, the position sensor real-time acquisition system rotation Angle, real-time data input for electronic control, so as to realize the horizontal direction of automatic tracking.
